We’re pleased to share that Localsearch has been shortlisted across four categories at the 2026 Global Digital Excellence Awards, for paid search, paid social and Meta advertising. These nominations reflect the regional expertise, hands-on account management and measurable growth that go into every campaign we run for Australian small businesses.

Who we are and what we do

Localsearch is one of Australia’s longest-running digital marketing agencies, helping small and medium businesses get found online since 1993. We work with 15,000+ Australian small and medium businesses every year across 60 regions, from major cities to the towns and suburbs many metro agencies overlook.

Our services include SEO, Google Ads management, web design and development, Google Business Profile management, review management, listings management and paid social advertising. We’re a Google Premier Partner, placing us in the top 3% of Google Partners in Australia, and a Meta Business Partner. Earlier this year, localsearch.com.au became Australia’s most-trafficked local directory, overtaking two competitors in 60 days and holding the top spot through a major Google core update. Everything we do sits behind one idea: helping local businesses be found by the customers already searching for them.

Shortlisted categories

Localsearch has been shortlisted for:

● Standout B2C PPC Campaign of the Year

● Standout Paid Social Media Campaign of the Year

● Standout Use of Meta

● Standout Low Budget PPC Campaign of the Year

What we did across these campaigns

We tightened account structure to match the services each client offers, rebuilt conversion tracking so we could see which keywords and ads were producing real enquiries, and ran creative testing on a genuine cycle rather than launching once and leaving it. On the tighter budgets, that discipline mattered even more: every dollar had to earn its place.

What being shortlisted means to us

Being recognised across four categories, spanning search and social, confirms that the fundamentals, tight targeting, disciplined budgets and consistent testing, still make the difference. For the specialists who manage these campaigns, and for the wider team at Localsearch, this kind of recognition means more than an award. The budgets we manage and the strategies we build sit behind real Australian businesses, and the people who rely on them to pay bills, keep staff employed and grow. Seeing that work recognised on a global scale means a great deal to everyone here.

After 33 years, being shortlisted like this is a reminder of why we keep doing it.
