Don’t Panic recognise the business landscape is changed and the Covid-19 crisis has brought to a temporary halt some ‘face to face’ award ceremonies that celebrate and reward success in the B2B industry. Don’t Panic believe in keeping calm and carrying on so whilst we have postponed some of our events we fully intend to host them and many others from London to Singapore to Toronto in the future, click here for new event dates and entry deadlines.

In times of crisis, like these, we need to be shouting even louder about incredible talent, diversification and survival. As we connect virtually to overcome adversity, let’s celebrate virtually too. Don’t Panic are therefore delighted to announce the Global Digital Excellence Awards – a virtual awards created to celebrate and reward exceptional digital campaigns, businesses and talent despite the unprecedented and challenging times. Now, more than ever we need a reason to celebrate and reward our colleagues as they ‘don’t panic, keep calm and carry on’.

Don’t Panic award ceremonies usually take place in 5* hotels or unique venues across the world but with these no longer able to take place we propose to take our celebrations and recognitions into a new dimension.

The Global Digital Excellence Awards will celebrate campaigns, teams, agencies, companies and individuals who have gone above and beyond across 64 categories.

The deadline for entries is 22 May 2020. You can enter campaigns or company categories featuring work or results from the past 18 months, and there will be a specific COVID-19 response category rewarding and recognising exceptional response to the challenges of COVID-19.

Global entries are welcomed. It doesn’t matter where you call home, we are all in this together, we are simply looking to celebrate the best work from around the world.

The Global Digital Excellence Awards are commercial awards - in these unprecedented times Don’t Panic must adapt and diversify to survive and we make no excuse for fighting for what we believe in and supporting our own dedicated team of employees. These steps will enable us to continue to deliver future face to face awards and celebrations later in 2020, when business returns to normal. We are looking forward to our events later in the year including UK Biddable Media Awards and the European Search Awards, all taking place late in the year.

Award entries start at £100 plus VAT and 20% of all entry revenue will be donated to COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

Existing clients will receive one complimentary entry as a thank you for their support. You will be sent an exclusive discount code to apply at checkout.

The awards will be presented virtually on Tuesday 23 June at 20:00 BST and will be free to attend. This is an opportunity to share best practice, learn new skills and unite our businesses. We will expect usual award etiquette so that the event is a real celebration, so dress up in Black Tie, fine dine (or order a takeaway), open some Champagne and enjoy the show. Just because it is virtual it doesn’t mean we won’t have fun, expect prizes for Best Dressed, Best Dinner and others!

In these exceptional times let’s get together virtually and celebrate, we look forward to seeing you on the night.

All categories will be judged by an influential and respected international judging panel. The judging is a robust, credible and transparent two-step process, involving pre-scoring and a judging session where the panel discusses each entry in detail.
