A great end to year 1 for the NatWest Email Development Team!

Being shortlisted for the In-House Team of the Year award is the icing on the cake to an incredible year for the NatWest Marketing Email Development team!


NatWest Group is a leading banking and financial services group in the UK and Ireland supporting over 19 million customers. So, as you can imagine email communications are very important to us – with the Email Development Team working as the voice of the bank, delivering vital information to those customers.

At the beginning of 2023 the team didn’t exist, with all of NatWest’s Email Marketing development being handled by an external agency. Throughout the year we phased out our partnership with the agency and built a fully functional in-house team, going from non-existent to fulfilling 100% of all email campaigns within 12 months.

Within our first year we –

  • Built and delivered over 240 campaigns
  • Equating to over 1,990 unique email deliveries
  • Which were sent to over 130 million customers
  • All whilst reducing costs and cutting down SLAs

    This is truly an amazing accomplishment and a testament to the members of the NatWest Marketing Email Development team.

Being shortlisted for the In-House Team of the Year means so much to both myself and the team. It hasn’t been the easiest journey, but with a lot of hard work and resilience shown by the team, we’re finally here. Winning this award would be a great way to celebrate year one.
